The photograph comes from The Observer’s legendary 1966 special supplement — a feature packed with striking shots, including the well-known quartet cover. Inside that issue were a series of atmospheric, high-energy photos taken at The Marquee Club, capturing the raw power and electricity of the band in full flight.

This particular image, printed within the bold “66” graphic, shows the drummer at his explosive best — a perfect snapshot of the era, all movement, sweat, chaos, and style. It’s a brilliant piece of rock-and-roll history, and it translates beautifully onto fabric.

The fabric is a 180g organic cotton – soft, lightweight, and ideal for everyday wear. They wash well too (as long as you follow the care instructions below!).
