66 Clothing Yellow Taxi Designed By Terry Rawlings AceTee - Petrol Blue T-shirt

Terry’s idea for his 66 designs was to go a little more Pop Art — bold, simple graphics with something familiar behind them. For this one, he took inspiration from the yellow New York taxis of the 1960s, mixing that unmistakable yellow with the black and white checkerboard detail. It feels very Terry to us — a bit of 60s America, a strong graphic, and plenty of character without trying too hard. Watch the video to hear the full story behind the design. It made us laugh when Terry explained where the idea came from! We are also really pleased to have Terry designing AceTees for 66. He is rarely seen without a good T-shirt himself, so we feel like we are in pretty good company.

The fabric is 180g organic cotton, soft, lightweight and ideal for everyday wear. They wash well too, as long as you follow the care instructions below.

The AceTee has a relaxed, casual fit. It is slightly more generous than our Downing Tees, so if you usually wear an XL in 66 Clothing this may feel a touch roomier than a Gabicci or some of our other tops. Please consult the size chart below.
