The "Chuck" - Cream Blue Green Stripe Hoodie By 66 Clothing

We called this one the "Chuck" after the renowned 1960's surfer Chuck Allen, who won many competitions during the 60's. We wanted a hoodie in the range, but we just couldn't get excited about doing another bog-standard plain hoodie with a logo on the front. There are plenty of those already. So we spent a bit longer on this one, working on both the stripe layout and the fabric. until it felt like something we'd actually want to wear ourselves. As you know, we've always liked the spirit of American surf culture. Long summer days, endless coastlines and a laid-back attitude. Sometimes you don't need to be dressed up; you just want something comfortable and easy to wear. Made from the same loopback cotton as our Sutherland tops, The Chuck has a reassuring weight to it. Heavy enough to take the edge off a breeze, but comfortable enough to wear all day. The cream, navy and green stripe gives it a classic look that feels right at home by the coast, at a summer festival, or simply out and about. We particularly liked the idea of doing a hoodie that wasn't plain. The stripe gives it a bit more interest and a bit more retro character, whilst still being easy to wear with jeans, shorts or chinos.

Sizing

The Chuck is cut exactly the same as our Sutherland tops, so we'd recommend sticking with your usual size. The only difference is the addition of the hood. Tech 100% Cotton Wash at 30 Degrees Max Do Not Tumble Dry Iron on Low Heat
